It may have happened quickly in the last couple of days, but Liverpool’s new goalkeeper Adrian has revealed that he has been on the club’s radar for a while.
“There was interest years ago,” said the 32-year-old Spaniard. “But the real interest was in the last few days. I had other options to move, because I finished with West Ham as a free agent last season.
“It’s a great step in my career right now – I’m coming to a big club to fight for everything. It’s a good challenge, a big challenge for me to face, challenging with big players here.”
