Despite assurances that he is happy at Liverpool, Luis Diaz is reportedly preparing to meet representatives from Barcelona to discuss a possible transfer to the Spanish club this summer.
According to Colombian journalist Breinner Arteta Cañizares, “Guajiro Luis Fernando DÃaz Marulanda’s entourage will have a meeting this or next week with emissaries from a Spanish club in the United States. The Colombian National Team winger would have everything lined up to leave Liverpool FC and go to La Liga.”
This comes after The Athletic also reported interest from both Barcelona and PSG.
Liverpool have already declared that they aren’t prepared to sell the player, at least not until Arne Slot settles in, but we expect these rumours to intensify during Copa America over the coming weeks.
