“The Fernando Torres Song” celebrates the Spanish striker Liverpool signed from Atletico Madrid in 2007, who wore the captain’s armband later embroidered with “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and quickly became a Kop favourite for his finishing and his pace in behind defences.
His armband proved he was a Red
Torres, Torres
You’ll never walk alone it said
Torres, Torres
We bought the lad from sunny Spain
He gets the ball he scores again
Fernando Torres, Liverpool’s number nine.
