Liverpool Football Club have unveiled the first look at a permanent memorial at Anfield dedicated to Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva.
Following their tragic passing last July, this tribute will stand as a testament to their lives and the respect they earned from the global football family.
The memorial, titled ‘Forever 20′, features a central flowing heart sculpture. This is a direct nod to Diogo’s iconic goal celebration and also symbolises the love shared by family, teammates, and supporters.
When viewed from different angles, the sculpture reveals the numbers 20 and 30, representing the shirts worn by the brothers during their careers.
The memorial will be installed at 97 Avenue and will ensure that the brothers’ legacy remains at the very heart of Anfield.
