Arne Slot

Arne Slot took over as Liverpool Football Club Head Coach after the departure of Jurgen Klopp.

He had massive boots to fill but the Dutchman hit the ground running, got the Reds playing in a more composed, self-assured manner and went on to win the Premier League title in his first season in charge.

As a player he was a midfielder for FC Zwolle, NAC Breda, Sparta Rotterdam and PEC Zwolle before he went into coaching, initially at PEC, then AZ and eventually stepping up to be head coach of Feyenoord from the 21/22 season. Slot went on to lead Feyenoord to the league title in 22/23 and finish runners up in 23/24.

With a higher calibre squad and a bigger transfer kitty for 25/26, it will be interesting to see how Slot performs in his second season in charge.
