Liverpool are interested in signing Midtjylland winger Dario Osorio during the summer transfer window, with Everton and Leeds also keeping tabs on the 22-year-old, according to Campo.
They would have to pay around £17m to sign the Chilean international.
Osorio is also attracting interest from Portugal, Spain and Germany, although a move to either England or Italy would be ‘the most realistic’ if he leaves the MCH Arena this month.
With 117 appearances for the Danish club, including Europa League outings, and 25 caps for his country, Osorio boasts substantial top-flight experience for his age and could prove to be a dependable, cost-effective addition to Iraola’s squad as the Reds prepare for the new season.
Having struggled last term unde Arne Slot, Iraola has moved quickly to bring in the players such as Victor Munoz, which he will need for a higher-pressing style of play, while also shoring up the defence with the addition of Jeremy Jacquet and Ronald Araujo.
With talk of Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye also possibly on their way from PSG before the transfer window closes, this promises to be an exciting season ahead for Liverpool fans.
Liverpool have only ever had one previous player from Chile – Mark Gonzales played for the Reds during the 2006–07 season, making 36 total appearances and scoring three goals under manager Rafael Benitez.
