Liverpool will finally get their man when the transfer window reopens in the summer, according to reports.
The man ‘in the know’ Fabrizio Romano claims that the Reds have secured the signing of the Fulham wonderkid, who’s January transfer fell through at the 11th hour.
It was always expected that the two clubs would try again to get the deal completed at the end of the season.
Unlike some ITK sources who claim to have insider information, Romano does generally tend to get it right, so hopefully we’ll see what the 19-year-old Portuguese attacking midfielder can do in a Liverpool shirt next season.
The deal is said to be worth an initial £5m with a further £2.7m in add-ons with a sell-on clause agreed.
Excl: Fabio Carvalho to Liverpool, here we go. Done deal. Medical already completed with Fulham permission. 5 million fee plus 2.7m add ons, sell-on clause included. Contract until 2027. 🔴🇵🇹 #LFC
NO plan to loan him back. Announcement in May.
