Roberto Firmino will play his last game at Anfield this afternoon.
The Brazilian forward leaves Liverpool at the end of the season with a heavy heart but fond memories of his eight years at the club.
“It is time, unfortunately,” he said. “The cycle here is ended and I understand it is time to go.
“I am very proud for everything that I have done here with the team, what we achieved together and the beautiful history we made together.
“It was absolutely incredible. We are leaving a great legacy.”
There will be tears around Anfield at the final whistle this afternoon, but all four corners of the stadium will also be singing ‘Si Senor’ for Bobby.
