Kelleher future uncertain

Caoimhin Kelleher‘s future is up in the air, as the club’s number two goalkeeper looks to get regular first team football away from Liverpool.

A potential move to Nottingham Forest fell through in January and they have since gone on to sign Carlos Miguel from Corinthians.

With Adrian now having left Anfield, Arne Slot will be hoping to hold onto Kelleher as the only real back-up to Alisson, with Marcelo Pitaluga lacking the experience needed to step up at this moment in time.

Another goalkeeper may be on the summer shopping list but until Slot signs one, Kelleher will unlikely be going anywhere just yet and may be offered more regular first team action next season to curb his desire to leave.
