Jurgen Klopp has given an injury update on Andy Robertson and Cody Gakpo ahead of Liverpool’s Europa League clash with Toulouse at Anfield on Thursday night.
“Robbo had surgery and all went well, so recovery starts after he wakes up. We don’t know how long it will take,” he said. “Cody is in full training now since Sunday and is available for the squad.”
He also took time to praise the French club after their Cup victory last season and is in no doubt that they won’t be an easy team to play.
“A really young, talented football team. To see them playing is really nice, they have a clear idea but we have to see how they show up here,” he added. “We have to make sure we are really ready.
“Then it’s about us. That’s very important that we create an atmosphere through the way we play. It’s a competition and we are really here to win football games and I hope that’s what we can show.”
