Jurgen Klopp remains optimistic as Liverpool prepare for Wednesday night’s Champions League clash at Real Madrid.
The Spanish side won the first leg 5-2 at Anfield, so the odds are well and truly against the Reds going to the Bernabeu needing to win by four goals, but the manager is hopeful.
“What I said after the game three weeks ago was Madrid with the result was through to the next round, but now we are three weeks later and we know there’s a game to play,” he said on Tueaday night.
“If there is only a 1% chance I would like to give it a try, so we are here to play an extremely strong opponent and try to win the game tomorrow.”
