Ibrahima Konate has left the France camp ahead of Monday’s World Cup qualifier with Iceland and returned to Liverpool.
The Reds defender picked up a slight thigh injury in last week’s game against Chelsea, but was called up to the national side for this week’s internationals.
Despite taking part in light training, Konate was left on the bench for France’s 3-0 win against Azerbaijan on Friday evening.
Hopefully it’s not too serious and he will be available to face Manchester United in Liverpool’s next Premier League game on October 19.
