It may not have been one of the most thrilling wins for the Reds, but Saturday’s victory over Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa was a hard-fought three valuable points in the Premier League title race.
It took a Mo Salah penalty to win the game, with the visitors determined to waste as much time as possible from the start and a referee giving very little to Jurgen Klopp‘s men.
