Liverpool are close to completing the £1.5m signing of 20-year-old Hungarian goalkeeper Armin Pecsi from Puskas Akademia.
With Caoimhin Kelleher leaving to join Brentford this week and Giorgi Mamardashvili set to arrive from Valencia to compete with Alisson for the No 1 shirt, the Reds are keen to bring in a promising young third choice keeper and Pecsi fits the bill perfectly.
If the deal goes through, Pecsi is expected to start next season playing for Liverpool’s Under-21s.
