Liverpool are in advanced talks to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike.
The club has reportedly agreed personal terms with the 23-year-old striker and are now close to agreeing a deal in excess of £70m with the Bundesliga club, beating Newcastle who have also been trying to sign the player.
This comes after the Magpies latest rejection of a £120m offer for Alexander Isak, but it is not yet clear whether the Reds will end their interest if the Ekitike tranafer goes through.
