Liverpool are closing in on a deal for Hugo Ekitike with the outline of an agreement now in place for the Eintracht Frankfurt striker.
According to the Sunday papers, the Reds are now just one step away from completing the signing of Hugo Ekitike after thrashing out the framework of a deal, worth £69m plus add-ons totalling £78m.
The club had wanted to complete the transfer over the weekend, but it looks like it won’t happen until Monday now.
