It was another miserable defeat for Liverpool, this time at the hands of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
A poor first-half performance from the Reds was punished by City and a quality second-half strike from Doku secured the victory.
The game wasn’t without controversy. Virgil van Dijk had a goal disallowed by VAR with Andy Robertson to be deemed offside, but Arne Slot’s men didn’t deserve to get anything from this game.
We now go into another international break, with the next game against Nottingham Forest on 22 November. At least we are guaranteed to remain undefeated for the next fortnight.
