Joel Matip may be on his way out of Liverpool in the summer, if rumours are to be believed.
Goal’s Neil Jones says “there have been growing whispers from within the club that Matip may move on this summer,” as the club prepare to rebuild for next season.
The Cameroon international defender is in his seventh season with Liverpool, since his free transfer from FC Schalke in 2016.
With 18 months left on his existing contract, the club must decide whether to offer him a new one or sell him to avoid losing him on a free next year.
