The summer transfer window is hotting up, with rumours coming in thick and fast.
Liverpool have reportedly rejected a bid for Nat Phillips from Turkish side Trabzonspor. Phillips has two years remaining on his current contract but looks set to leave this summer if an offer in the region of £8m is received.
Liverpool are still interested in signing Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon, but there’s now talk that Manchester City are monitoring the situation. We don’t expect any developments until after the Euros.
Nico Williams is another player being hotly linked with Liverpool, but Barcelona president Joan Laporta is apparently refusing to accept the club have financial contraints and may be interested in the Athletic Bilbao winger.
It’s all gone quiet on the Luis Diaz front… for now. The Liverpool forward has been in fine form for Colombia at the Copa America, but expect links with Barcelona to resurface next week.
