Darwin Nunez has reportedly given his approval to a summer transfer to Napoli, but the two clubs still need to come to agree a fee for the Uruguay striker.
There was a lot of hype when the 25-year-old joined Liverpool for a then club record fee of €100m from Sporting two years ago, and the Reds will be keen to recoup as much of that as possible.
They’ve apparently set a price tag of €80m, although the Serie A champions’ opening offer is in the region of €50m, so there looks to be plenty of negotiation needed to complete the deal.
