Liverpool’s attempts to sell Divock Origi might be coming to fruition, just before the transfer window shuts around Europe.
The club are in talks with Borussia Dortmund regarding a possible move for the Belgian forward after the Bundesliga club’s attempt to sign Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer fell through.
Wolves had been prepared to offer £22m for Origi before the UK deadline last week, but the Reds have been holding out for £27m.
Jurgen Klopp’s former club have until next Friday to agree a deal for the player who is almost certain to play no part in Liverpool’s campaign this season.
