Trent Alexander-Arnold faced the press ahead of Wednesday night’s Champions League clash at Inter Milan, but instead was asked about the ‘ugly’ Burnley victory and Liverpool’s chances of pipping Man City to the Premier League title.
“We’ve always known we can win ugly and we’ve done that over the last few seasons – scruffy 1-0’s away from home on days like Sunday and we’ve been doing that for years now,” he said.
“It’s important for us to make sure we keep winning games. We just need to keep as much pressure on as we can. Anything can happen in this league.”
