Trent Alexander-Arnold will miss Thursday night’s League Cup semi-final with Tottenham.
He suffered a thigh injury during the second half of the 2-0 win at Bournemouth on Saturday.
Arne Slot admitted after the game that it was “not a good sign” when Trent asked to be substituted, but scans have revealed that it’s only a minor problem and he could be back in time for the Merseyside derby next Wednesday.
