The Reds boss says the game was “a joy to watch but not the victory we wanted”.
The defeat means that Liverpool have now only claimed one point from the three games since they secured the Premier League title and Slot was asked why they deserve to be champions, admitting that they may not have won it in the style that Man City have in previous seasons because of the higher quality of competing teams this season.
