Liverpool have finally agreed a deal to sign Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 23-year-old French striker has successfully completed a medical and agreed personal terms with the Reds, allowing him to fly out to Hong Kong to join his new teammates on their pre-season tour of Asia, while he awaits international clearance to play.
Liverpool will pay an initial fee of £69m plus £10m in add-ons, as the Reds continue to spend big over the summer transfer window.
Ekitike scored 26 goals in 64 appearances for the Bundesliga club last season and was also named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season.
