Manchester-born Chris Kavanagh will referee what’s likely to be a heated Premier League clash between Liverpool and Man City at Anfield on Sunday.
Dan Cook and Nick Greenhalgh are Kavanagh’s assistants, Andy Madley is the fourth official, Paul Howard will be the video assistant referee and Nick Hopton is assistant VAR.
Kavanagh and Greenhalgh were both stood down from duties last February, after a series of errors in an FA Cup tie between Aston Villa and Newcastle.
Sunday’s fixture will surely be challenging for the ref. We expect a heated exchange between the two sides after last week’s guilty verdict for Man City.
The Liverpool fans will be vocal in their condemnation of the cheating, which saw the Reds miss out on two Premier League titles during the period in question.
The game will kick-off at 4.30pm on Sunday and will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK. We will bring you full TV and Live Score info nearer the time.
