Ryan Gravenberch missed Wednesday night’s Champions League defeat by Fenerbahce due to a heel injury picked up ahead of Sunday’s home defeat to Arsenal.
However, the Dutch midfielder still has a chance to be involved against Crystal Palace on Sunday, according to Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola.
“The only doubt we will have is Ryan,” he said at his Friday pre-match press conference.
“The others will be the same as we have been. The Ryan Gravenberch thing is a day-to-day thing, it’s a matter of pain.
“Let’s see if he can deal with the pain and he can help us.”
One positive is that Trey Nyoni, who has been standing in for Gravenberch, has put in two impressive performances. It would be a shame for him to lose his place in the starting XI on Sunday.
