Liverpool’s new signing Victor Munoz has joined up with the rest of the squad at the AXA training centre for the first time since his transfer to Liverpool back in June.
The Reds confirmed the signing of the 23-year-old forward from Osasuna after triggering his €40m euro release clause.
Despite not playing in the finals, Munoz picked up his World Cup winner’s medal before heading off for a summer break.
The club have announced that Munoz will claim the number 23 shirt, previously worn by Luis Diaz and before him Xherdan Shaqiri, Emre Can, Jamie Carragher and Robbie Fowler.
