On 4 June 2019, Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-0 in the Champions League final in Madrid, winning the European Cup for the sixth time in the club’s history.
An early goal from Mo Salah and a late one from Divick Origi sealed the victory as Jurgen Klopp‘s men started their 12-month domination of the game that would see hte Reds go on to win the Club World Cup and Premier League.
