Mohamed Salah arrived at Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from Roma for a reported £43.9m fee, quickly establishing himself as one of the most transformative forwards in world football.

The Egyptian King redefined Anfield’s modern era with an unprecedented blend of pace, strength, and finishing precision.

His debut campaign in 2017-18 set the tone, shattering records with 32 Premier League goals in a 38-game season and 44 in all competitions.

Alongside Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, Salah formed a front three that terrorised European defences.

He won the Champions League in 2019, converting an early penalty in the final against Tottenham, and followed it by driving Liverpool to their first league championship in 30 years with 99 points in 2019-20.

Over nine seasons at the club, Salah evolved from a direct, goalscoring winger into a complete playmaker.

He amassed 257 goals and 120 assists across 442 appearances in all competitions, placing him third on Liverpool’s all-time top scorer chart behind only Ian Rush and Roger Hunt.

He collected four Premier League Golden Boots, three PFA Players’ Player of the Year awards, and every major domestic and continental honour.

His heroics in big wins against Liverpool’s main rivals, most notably Manchester United, cemented his status among the club’s greatest legends.

Mo Salah bid an emotional farewell to Liverpool at the end of the 25/26 season after a nine-year stint with the club.

The Egyptian King had announced back in March of his desire to leave at the end of the season.

He closed his Liverpool chapter having broken Steven Gerrard‘s Premier League assist record for the club and sitting as their greatest European and Premier League goalscorer.
