Joe Gomez appears to be on his way out of Anfield very soon.

Rumours of a transfer before the window closes at the end of August is looking increasingly likely, with Newcastle United valuing the centre-back at £45m when the two clubs failed to negotiate Anthony Gordon’s transfer earlier this month. It’s quite possible that the Magpies will return with another offer if their bid for Marc Guehi falls through.
