Nicolo Barella is the latest player being linked with a move to Anfield as the Reds continue their search for a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum.
Italian media outlet Calciomercato have stated that Liverpool have made contact with the Serie A club.
Inter are reluctant to sell, but are in a difficult financial position and may be forced to concede if the price is right. Barella cost the club €45m from Cagliari two years ago so he won’t be cheap.
