Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement with Mohamed Salah over a new contract, according to Sunday’s red tops.
Salah’s agent Rammy Abbas had told Liverpool that he wanted a three-year contract for his client, with Fenway Sports Group having initially only been prepared to offer a one-year extension.
However, a compromise now seems to have been reached, with the 32-year-old reportedly agreeing a two-year deal.
This will be a relief for fans who had been afraid the Egyptian winger would leave the club when his current deal expires next June. He has been in amazing form in recent weeks, proving his value to the club as they look to challenge for even more honours under new boss Arne Slot.
