Julian Ward will return to Liverpool as technical director from June 1, just a year after stepping down as Liverpool’s sporting director to take a break from football.
He will be tasked with overseeing player development across FSG’s football operations, including oversight of the club’s academy and the establishment of a new football innovation department.
