Liverpool’s search for a new right-back has hit a stumbling block.
Lutsharel Geertuida has been linked with a possible summer move in recent weeks, but the RB Leipzig defender doesn’t look like he’s interested, according to Voetbal International journalist, Joost Blaauwhof.
“Lutsharel Geertruida currently has no contact whatsoever with Liverpool,” Blaauwhof wrote on X.
“Arne Slot wanted to bring in the defender in the winter due to his versatility.
“The club didn’t follow through at the last moment, despite a personal agreement. The ex-Feyenoorder is focusing on the World Cup, transfer comes later.”
