Liverpool v Chelsea Preview

It’s a little disrespectful to certain teams to say this is the first real test of the league season for us but in truth, it’s the first time we will meet a team likely to finish in the top 6 this season…maybe even the top 8

😉

Palmer and co roll into town

Cole Palmer and his teammates have made a decent start to the season. Certainly from an attacking perspective they’ve been able to hit the back of the net 18 times, that’s 5 more than us. Their defence however has shipped on average more than a goal per game while we still still with only 2 conceded in 7 which is clearly the best in the league. The next best defence is Arsenal with 6 conceded in 7.

The only time Chelsea have faced serious opposition away from Stamford Bridge this season they were shut-out at Man City in the opening round of the season. They lost 2-0 that day and never really looked likely. It’s reasonable to assume they are a better outfit now after several signings have had chance to settle in and the team has got used to new coach Maresca’s tactics.

Total goals the way to play

I can’t see this being an overly expansive match, we’ve been far steadier under Arne and I believe despite their attacking flair, Chelsea will look to contain and counter. The goal markets seem to offer up some nice options for us with under 2.5 goals being offered at 17/10 with TrustDice.win and the under 3.5 goals for those who are a little more risk averse at 8/11 and that’s our selection for this article.

Treble to bank on!

Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City to win at 9/4 with TrustDice.win
