James Milner says he still feels physically fit and will continue to play on for Liverpool for as long as he can.
The 37-year-old picked up his MBE from Prince William on Tuesday, two days after playing his part in the club’s record-breaking 7-0 win over Man Utd.
“I feel very fortunate to be playing at an amazing club like Liverpool, in an amazing team that I’m playing with,” he said. “I feel like I can still contribute and I feel good physically the majority of days so I’ll keep working hard.
“I just want to keep contributing to a massive club like Liverpool and hopefully make an impact both on and off the field.”
