It’s all happened behind the scenes and many of us don’t know too much about Liverpool’s new signing from Osasuna, but Victor Munoz is excited about the move to Anfield.
“The truth is it all happened very quickly but, well, when an opportunity like this comes along, you just can’t let it slip by,” the 22-year-old forward said, while training with the Spain squad at the World Cup.
“It’s something unique to be able to play there at Anfield, and both me and my family had absolutely no doubts.
“The truth is it’s a chapter for my future that could be really special. I’m really looking forward to it.
“But if I’m honest with you, right now my eyes are completely set on things here [at the World Cup], on trying to get fit as soon as possible.”
Munoz will join up with the Liverpool squad after the tournament for pre-season training ahead of what is going to be a =n interesting season for the Reds.
