Simon Mignolet has retired from football at the age of 38.
The former Liverpool keeper has had a 20-year career in the game, starting out at his hometown club of Sint-Truiden in Belgium back in 2006, before heading to the Premier League with Sunderland in 2010.
Brendan Rodgers brought him to Liverpool in 2013 and he was first choice keeper for several seasons, making 155 appearances for the club, before making way for Loris Karius then Alisson Becker, as Jurgen Klopp was determined to find a reliable stopper.
He left Liverpool for Brugge in 2019 where he went on to play out the remainder of his career.
