Liverpool track Mexican World Cup breakout prodigy

Reports from De Telegraaf are linking Liverpool with a move for 17-year-old Mexican winger Gilberto Mora.

The Club Tijuana ‘wonderkid’ has caught the eye of several top European clubs following a series of highly-impressive displays for Mexico at the World Cup.

Liverpool face stiff domestic competition, with Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea also tracking the teenager’s progress.

Media reports in Central America suggest that concrete plans are being drawn up for Mora to secure a high-profile move to the Premier League during the upcoming winter transfer window.

In the meantime, we’ll all get a chance to watch Mora run rings around England’s defence in the early hours of Monday morning.
