Life just gets better and better for Jarell Quansah.
After a tremendous debut season for Liverpool, the 21-year-old defender has now been called up to the England squad for their friendlies against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland, ahead of the Euro 2024 finals.
“I’ve been dreaming since I was young for this opportunity, so I’m buzzing,” he said
“I told my family, my mum and dad, when I got the call. I was buzzing and they were buzzing for me. Probably crying, to be honest.
“I had a few holidays booked with my mates and I’ve had to tell them to go without me. They’re obviously blowing up my phone and they’re buzzing for me.”
