Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has received an honorary CBE in recognition of his services to football.
The prestigious honour recognises the German’s outstanding services to football and his enduring contribution to the city of Liverpool during his transformative nine-year tenure at Anfield, which ended in 2024.
Klopp became a unifying figure on Merseyside, delivering the club’s first league title in 30 years alongside a Champions League trophy, FA Cup, two League Cups, the Super Cup and Club World Cup.
Beyond the silverware, his close work with the LFC Foundation cemented a deep emotional bond with the local community, previously earning him the Freedom of the City of Liverpool.
Klopp is now jetting off to America for a busy punditry gig at the World Cup.
