As discussed earlier today, it was revealed that Jurgen Klopp was in talks with FSG about an extension to his current contract which expires in 2024.
It has now been confirmed that a two-year extension has been agreed, keeping Klopp at Liverpool until 2026.
This is great news and may also be a deciding factor in Mohamed Salah agreeing a new deal.
It would also possibly fit nicely with a possible return for Steven Gerrard as manager, taking over from Klopp in four years time.
