Antoine Semenyo has a £65m release clause in his contract at Bournemouth, that can only be activated during the first two weeks of January.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian winger signed a new five-year deal at Vitality Stadium on 1st July, with this clause included to allow the club to find a replacement during the New Year transfer window should he leave.
Liverpool are among a number of clubs keeping an eye on the player, including Man City and Tottenham.
