Liverpool have reportedly made a move to bring Joao Gomes to Anfield, after a deal between Wolves and Atletico Madrid fell through.
Man Utd have also made contact for Gomes, but Wolves are understood to value the 25-year-old Brazilian midfielder at around £50m.
Wolves signed Gomes in a £15m deal from Flamengo three years ago, with the Brazilian side smartly including a 10% sell-on clause.
Both Premier League clubs are now monitoring the situation as they weigh up a summer move, with the relegated Wolves eager to cash in.
