Thiago Alcantara is the latest former player to join the Liverpool Legends squad for their match against Borussia Dortmund Legends.
The Spanish midfielder will feature for the first time in the charity event at Anfield, which kicks off at 3pm on Saturday March 28th.
Thiago joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in 2020 and played 68 times for the Reds before retiring from football at the end of the 23/24 season.
He will line up alongside some greats, such as Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia, Martin Skrtel, Vladimir Smicer, Jerzy Dudek and Pepe Reina.
Jurgen Klopp, the LFC Foundation’s honorary ambassador, will be back in the Anfield dugout, alongside Legends manager Sir Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush.
It’s going to be a great event and tickets are still available here.
