It was an eventful match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening, but not the best performance from Arne Slot‘s Liverpool.
Liverpool took the lead early in the second half through substitute Alexander Isak, who picked up a knee injury in the process. Hugo Ekitike added a second and we all thought it would job done against a 10-man Spurs, but the home side fought on and got a goal back, putting undue pressure on the Reds up until the final whistle. Even when Spurs had a second player sent off, it was nail biting until the final whistle.
