Liverpool boss Arne Slot was full of praise for Hugo Ekitike after his brace in the 2-0 win over against Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield on Saturday.
“I think he was in moments impressive today,” he said after the game.
“The goals he scored in themselves were good goals but there were other moments where I thought ‘wow’ and there were a few times he made a sprint you could see how fast he is compared to others. And that is of course why we wanted him.”
