Curtis Jones pulled up late in the first half, and was substituted at half-time during Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Fulham at Anfield on Saturday.
“He felt a little bit his groin. It wasn’t the moment. He felt it already for a few minutes,” Liverpool boss Arne Slot said after the game.
“So, let’s hope for the best but I would be surprised if a player who comes off that he’s available for Tuesday.
“But, I would almost say, ‘Welcome to our season’. Every time after a win, or after something good happens, there’s always an injury following it up, but it’s a win, and that’s what we should be really happy about.”
