Arne Slot delivered that bad news that Alexander Isak will be out for a long time after suffering a broken leg while scoring in Liverpool’s 2-1 win at Tottenham on Saturday.
The Swedish striker underwent an operation on Monday and the Reds boss says he will be back at some point this season.
In the meantime, without Mo Salah who is at AFCON with Egypt, Liverpool have only one first team striker available in Hugo Ekitike and must get by the best they can during the busy festive period.
Listen to what Slot had to say ahead of Saturday’s Premier League game with Wolves.
